Designer Fireplaces in South Africa

Each of our designer wood-burning fireplaces is specifically tailored to your home. It consist of a beautiful fireplace door and the inner ceramic structure responsible for storing large amounts of heat.

A Fireplace to suit your individual needs

Our Designer Fireplaces range is perfectly suited to the South African environment thanks to the individual planning and design that goes into each build. This ensures that the cosmetic look of each fireplace enhances the home while the internal foundation improves the heating potential of each unit to create the ultimate wood-burning fireplace.
Besides the actual look you are seeking, design considerations are mostly influenced by the following 2 factors:

  • Where is the fireplace positioned? In other words is it freestanding, built against a wall or built right into an existing wall.
  • What is the required heat output? This determines the size of the final structure.

Many of our current Designer Fireplaces can be seen on this website and include some of the best Built-in Fireplaces, Classic and Double Sided Fireplaces in the country. Many of our designs also allow us to include heating elements in the floor level above the actual fireplace or radiant walls in the back of the fireplace. These options are both ideal for the heating of bedrooms or bathrooms.

Why design each fireplace individually?

Not every home has the same heating requirements and the fireplace you choose needs to reflect this. This means before we even start designing your fireplace we determine your heating needs and the layout of your home to maximize its heating potential.

But why is this? Simply put, if the fireplace is too small it will not be able to provide sufficient radiant heat to cover the intended area in your home for the intended period of time. Alternatively if the stove is too large it radiates more heat than required. Both scenarios are to be avoided due to a more frequent reheating requirement of a smaller fireplace or a higher than necessary initial cost that is coupled with an increased wood consumption.

Let us know which of our Designer fireplace designs appeal to you and we will come through to your home and discuss which option best suits your needs.
